Albumen 3.0

Albumen offers a streamlined interface for browsing and playing music tracks stored on your device, with organization by albums and playlists.

Originally, Albumen was developed at a time when Apple's Music app truncated song titles and artist information, whereas Albumen displayed this information in full, providing enhanced clarity. While the current version of Apple's Music app no longer shortens this data, Albumen continues to offer value through its clean and straightforward user interface.

By tapping a song, playback begins immediately, utilizing the native iPhone music player. This allows users to exit Albumen without disrupting playback, enabling continued listening through the standard iOS music controls available via the Control Center, lock screen, or the Music app itself. The application also includes essential playback controls such as a play/pause button and a track progress indicator.

Additionally, Albumen indicates the currently playing track by displaying a note icon next to it. The Now button provides quick access to the active track within its album view, enhancing navigation and usability during playback.
